Lines are in, helo is up

12:54 and the massive lines are in from the pier and one of the two MH-60s just took off from the deck and is up flying security for the ship. I am really starting to believe we may actually get underway today. Others obviously think so, too, because there's lots of laughter and joking around on the flag bridge right now. With five minutes to go, though, I wonder if we really get underway at 1 p.m.
